The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holdsworth misses with a series of wild punches.
Roach fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Holdsworth drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Roach defends it well.
Holdsworth bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Roach's head.

It looks like Lemuel Roach has been cut.
Roach slips a jab and a cross from Holdsworth.

Roach gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Holdsworth is working Roach over against the cage.

Holdsworth pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Holdsworth shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Holdsworth showed some decent athleticism there.
Holdsworth prevents Roach from standing back up.
Roach is staying active underneath Holdsworth, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Roach tries to get to full guard but Holdsworth has control of the leg.
Holdsworth working over Roach with some ground and pound. Roach looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Roach is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Holdsworth lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Roach! More strikes land and this one is all over! Holdsworth jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
