Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Valentine Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adryan Preuss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Valentine Xavier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Adryan Preuss!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Preuss enables Xavier to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Preuss manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Preuss trying to keep a closed guard but Xavier is proving a slippery customer.
Preuss looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Xavier puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Preuss tries to get to full guard but Xavier has control of the leg.
Preuss really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Xavier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Xavier prevents Preuss from standing back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Preuss trying to hold on to Xavier's head to control him but Xavier postures up.
Xavier will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Preuss is trying to stand.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Preuss is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Xavier really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Preuss is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Xavier definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Xavier wants to control from the top but Preuss keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Xavier takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Valentine Xavier has been cut.
Preuss misses with a double jab.
Preuss throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Preuss jabs Xavier right on the nose. Xavier blinks but takes it well.
Xavier ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Preuss stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Preuss wants it to stay on the feet.

Xavier has a takedown stuffed.
A punch combination from Preuss misses.
Xavier went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Preuss looks to score with a jab to the body but Xavier is just out of range.
Preuss steps in with a hook that catches Xavier right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Preuss follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Xavier looks absolutely devastated.
