The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jose looks to throw a body kick

and Kota counters by moving into the clinch.

Kota gets a trip takedown into half guard.

Kota is working for a submission of some sort.
Kota misses with a head shot. Jose uses the momentum to regain guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jose is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Kota throws a strike but Jose rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
