Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Stapleton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Jonathon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stapleton comes into the arena with Stick To Your Guns - Against Them All blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jonathon shoots in for a double leg but Stapleton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jonathon with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Stapleton to score with a decent uppercut.
Jonathon displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Stapleton throws out the jab.
Stapleton cracks Jonathon with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Stapleton has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jonathon to stand back up!
Jonathon is rocked!
It looks like Ben Jonathon has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Look low, kick high! Stapleton uses the oldest trick in the book to send Jonathon tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Stapleton is absolutely delighted - when Jonathon wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jeremy Stapleton!
A relieved looking Jeremy Stapleton thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
