And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 wins, 5 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yuki Takano!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.



The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takano looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Takano is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

It looks like Yuki Takano has been cut.
An inside leg kick lands from Donowitz.
Takano lands a right hook to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Donowitz. Takano does a little dance to reset his feet.
Donowitz throws a shot to the body.
Donowitz throws a combination that misses
and Takano counters with a nice leg kick.
Takano digs a good hook to Donowitz's body.
Takano fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Donowitz looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Donowitz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Donowitz misses with an attempted mid kick.
Takano bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Takano misses with a body kick.
Donowitz throws a big counter combination but Takano scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Donowitz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Donowitz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Takano moves away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Donowitz swings widly with a right hand
and Takano counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Takano explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Takano throws a low kick, looking for Donowitz's leg but Donowitz calmly moves out of range.
Donowitz catches Takano with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Takano scores with a shot to the body.
Takano misses with a wild body shot.
Donowitz is looking to counter punch.
Donowitz lands a head shot.

Donowitz closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Takano swings wildly with an uppercut but Donowitz uses good head movement to avoid it.
Donowitz working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Takano tries to throw a body punch but Donowitz avoids it by throwing Takano back against the cage.
Takano scores with a nice hook to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Donowitz tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Donowitz is looking to control Takano's arms but Takano gets an underhook and turns him. Now Donowitz has his back to the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Donowitz.

Donowitz pulls guard.
Takano is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Takano tries to free his leg and advance position but Donowitz is retaining full guard.

Donowitz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Takano doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Takano manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Takano is sitting in close to Donowitz's body. Donowitz has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Takano is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Takano is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Donowitz.

An intense looking Abraham Donowitz took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'You should totally, like, consider a career change little man.
