The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kilkenny takes the fight into the clinch.

Kilkenny is pushing Steffensen up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
The crowd are getting on Kilkenny's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.

Kilkenny told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Steffensen is trying to pull guard but Kilkenny has him pressed against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kilkenny scores with a nice body kick.
Kilkenny lands a leg kick that knocks Steffensen off balance momentarily.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kilkenny. Steffensen shrugs it off though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kilkenny fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Steffensen to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Steffensen looks to clinch but Kilkenny throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Steffensen taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
