Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vladimir Kavacavich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Fick Moley!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moley displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kavacavich.
Kavacavich looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kavacavich enables Moley to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kavacavich manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Moley trying to control the position from guard on top but Kavacavich is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Moley must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Moley is looking to work some ground and pound but Kavacavich has wrist control.

Moley throws an elbow that misses. Kavacavich uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Moley's guard. Nice move by Kavacavich!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Moley has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Kavacavich has passed into side control.
Moley tries to buck Kavacavich off but Kavacavich is having none of it.
Moley tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Kavacavich presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Kavacavich tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Kavacavich tries to push Moley's head away but Moley is holding on tight.

Kavacavich definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Moley is working to get back to half guard.
Moley tries to control Kavacavich's body but Kavacavich pushes him off. Moley squirms to his side and now Kavacavich has his back!

Moley tries to escape but Kavacavich has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Kavacavich looking to break Moley's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Moley remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Kavacavich will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Moley trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moley tries to escape but Kavacavich has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Moley is trying to get back to his feet but Kavacavich has full control of the position and if anything, Moley has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Moley rolls, trying to escape but Kavacavich keeps control of the position.

Moley tried to score with a low kick but Kavacavich checks it.
Kavacavich is looking to clinch but Moley is avoiding it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Moley wants to control but Kavacavich is keeping him busy.

Moley is pressing down on Kavacavich's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kavacavich is holding on for now.

Moley closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kavacavich's guard.

Moley slips a nice elbow through Kavacavich's hands, connecting with Kavacavich's forehead.
Moley works his foot free and advances to mount.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Moley lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Kavacavich hang on?
Kavacavich is squirming around, avoiding Moley's attempts to control the action.
Kavacavich tries to lock up and control but Moley gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fick Moley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Moley shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kavacavich defends it nicely.
Moley misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Kavacavich gets caught napping as Moley dives in and scores a takedown. Kavacavich manages to retain guard.

Moley drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kavacavich looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kavacavich looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kavacavich!

Kavacavich looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Moley looks like he's trying to stand up.

Moley is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Kavacavich is thwarting Moley's attempts to control the position.
Kavacavich wants to take a breather but Moley is having none of it.
Kavacavich wants to pass the guard but Moley is defending well.

Moley is looking for a sweep. Kavacavich is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Moley wants to get back to his feet.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Kavacavich defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Moley.

Moley shoots in and bounces Kavacavich off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Kavacavich has momentary wrist control but Moley slips an elbow through the middle.
Moley chips away with some ground and pound.
Moley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kavacavich. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Moley stands up over Kavacavich, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Moley lands a couple of digs.

Kavacavich is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Moley throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Kavacavich has his foot on Moley's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Moley works his way back into a safe position though.
Moley would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Moley fails with a takedown attempt.
Kavacavich appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Vladimir Kavacavich has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fick Moley.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Moley bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

And that's the end of the fight!
Fick Moley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Moley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
