Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ronny James Dio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buster Knott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dio kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is you know its gotta be Holy Diver. Knott has chosen Kanye West vs. The xx - Touch The Sky (Carlos Serrano Mix) as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dio avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dio is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Knott.
Knott has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Knott looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dio was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Dio has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Knott closes the distance and clinches up with Dio, looking for a takedown. Knott pushes Dio against the cage but Dio circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Knott does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Knott walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Knott limp body while Dio jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Ronny James Dio bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
