The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zarandona closes the distance and clinches up with Augie, looking for a takedown. Zarandona pushes Augie against the cage but Augie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Augie throws a shot from downtown. Zarandona moves away and avoids it.
Zarandona is looking to clinch.
Augie let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Augie shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Zarandona napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Zarandona is trying to control Augie's posture but Augie avoids it.
Zarandona tries to buck Augie off but Augie is having none of it.
Augie in side control, just content to control the action for now.

Augie has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Zarandona is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Augie yanks on the arm and Zarandona is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Augie.
