Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Cody Lundin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Leo Vellucci!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vellucci tries to clinch but Lundin is having none of it.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lundin crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Vellucci - the referee stops the clock and Lundin gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Vellucci. Lundin manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

We've been hearing reports that Lundin has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Cody Lundin will probably get the nod.

Lundin lands a really nice looking cross but Vellucci seems unphased.
Lundin does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lundin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cody Lundin.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lundin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
