Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Sandoval (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lopez comes to the cage accompanied by Vamos. Sandoval has chosen Overseer - Slayed as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Felix Sandoval enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Felix Sandoval!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez misses with a low kick.
Lopez seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Lopez looks to throw a body kick
and Sandoval cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Sandoval fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lopez sprawls well initially but Sandoval persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Well, if Sandoval is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Lopez manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Sandoval keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Lopez is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sandoval asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Sandoval cracks Lopez with a big right hand but Lopez just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Sandoval wants to control for a moment but Lopez uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

Lopez tries to bum rush Sandoval with a series of wild strikes but Sandoval uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Sandoval looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lopez is fending him off so far but Sandoval persists. Nope, Lopez circles away and we're back to standing.

Lopez has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sandoval is working away from the top position though.
