Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goudeau throws a jab but it's blocked by Barnes.
Nice defenses there by Barnes.
A looping hook to the body misses from Barnes. Goudeau does a little dance to reset his feet.
Goudeau wants to counter the offense by Barnes and move into the clinch position.
Barnes lands with a kick to the temple. Goudeau shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Goudeau pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Barnes misses with a wild body shot.
Goudeau with the counter takedown but Barnes avoids it easily.
Barnes connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Goudeau's hands.
Goudeau has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Barnes moves out of range of the strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Goudeau avoids the head kick by Barnes.
Goudeau looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Barnes swings for the body but Goudeau moves out of range.
Barnes connects with a body shot.
A nice inside leg kick there by Barnes. That's going to slow Goudeau down.

Barnes shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Goudeau throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A quick step to the side and Barnes tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Barnes avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Barnes moves away from the strike by Goudeau.
Barnes with a body punch. A glancing blow.
No joy there for Barnes, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
And Goudeau tries to counter it with a takedown but Barnes pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Goudeau shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Barnes as he jumps to the side.
Barnes throws a lazy head kick

and Goudeau counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Barnes is refusing to be controlled, as Goudeau sits in half guard.

Goudeau is working for a kimura but Barnes is defending it quite comfortably.

Goudeau is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Barnes is just riding it out for now. Goudeau eventually gives up the hold.
Barnes is trying to get back to full guard.
