Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Linus Akerman and Joseph Harrison. Harrison has chosen Wreckonize - adrenaline as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 wins, 1 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of London, Joseph Harrison!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akerman goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Joseph Harrison has been cut.
Akerman staying out of range there.
Harrison throws a jab when Akerman was well out of range.
It looked like Akerman was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Harrison.
Harrison throws a nice looking combination but Akerman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A looping hook to the body misses from Harrison. Akerman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Akerman scores with a jab to the head.
Akerman throws a right and a left that both miss.
Joseph Harrison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Akerman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Harrison.
Harrison throws a combination that misses
and Akerman counters with a nice body shot.
Akerman scores with a shot to the body.
Akerman stalks Harrison and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Harrison's face. Harrison staggers backwards, shaken.
Akerman has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Harrison is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Akerman moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Linus Akerman!
Joseph Harrison spoke after the fight, saying 'Raaaaaaaahh'.
