Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lukasz Wolek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fez Pez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wolek's entrance music is DMX - Ruff Ryders anthem. A fine choice. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lukasz Wolek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fez Pez!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Joseph Jones and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pez takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Pez checks a low kick from Wolek.
Wolek works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Pez has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Wolek throws a lazy right hand but Pez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pez misses the shot to the body.
Pez does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Wolek tried to counter with a leg kick but Pez avoided it.
Pez misses the shot to the body.
Pez with a jab.
Wolek misses with a body kick.
Wolek throws a lazy uppercut
and Pez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Pez throws a big shot that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wolek clinches.
Wolek lands with a left to the head.
Pez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wolek darts in trying to clinch
and Pez counters with a slapping leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pez ducks under a wild hook from Wolek.
Wolek swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pez swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Wolek with a jab.
Pez takes a swing at Wolek's ribcage but misses.
It looked like Wolek was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Pez.
Wolek tries to work over Pez's front leg with a kick but Pez checks it.
Wolek uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Pez has time to react.
Wolek looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Pez ducks under a wild hook from Wolek.
Wolek throws a nice looking combination but Pez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Wolek gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Pez.
Wolek misses with the combination.
Pez throws out a counter right but Wolek avoids it with no problem.
Lukasz Wolek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pez throws a good cross that connects.
Wolek closes the distance and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pez lands a body shot.
Wolek throws a punch but it's blocked by Pez.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Wolek lands a left hand that snaps the head of Pez backwards.
Pez goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Wolek.
Pez is rocked!
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Wolek.
Pez is still on wobbly legs! Can Wolek finish him?
Clinched against the cage, Wolek lands a big elbow that drops Pez! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Pez is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lukasz Wolek!
A very excited looking Lukasz Wolek made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
