Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Slow Poke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Friedrich Nietzsche (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poke shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Poke tries a low kick but Nietzsche avoids it.
Nietzsche throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Poke tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Poke has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Poke in side control, throwing shots but Nietzsche defends.
Nietzsche sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Poke throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Nietzsche to regain full guard.
Poke drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Poke jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nietzsche is on top in guard.
Poke is looking to cinch up a triangle. Nietzsche throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Poke's body to avoid the submission. Poke has instead reached around Nietzsche's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Poke arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Slow Poke!
