Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Park Jae Sung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Craig Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jae Sung throws a sloppy head kick and Johnson moves out of range easily.
A slow jab from Johnson misses its intended target.
Johnson swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Jae Sung counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.


It looks like Craig Johnson has been cut.
Johnson misses the shot to the body.
Jae Sung appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Johnson throws a body punch but Jae Sung moves out of range.
Johnson lands with a nice body punch.
Jae Sung comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Johnson lands a body shot.
Johnson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Johnson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Johnson misses with a straight left.
Johnson misses with a wild body shot.
Johnson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jae Sung back to the cage. Johnson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jae Sung fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Jae Sung avoids the body shot from Johnson.

Jae Sung moves into range and clinches up with Johnson.
Jae Sung keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Johnson's efforts to push away.

Johnson misses with the head strike.
A nice left hand lands by Jae Sung.
Johnson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Jae Sung is defending well for now.
Johnson blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Jae Sung pulls guard.
Johnson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jae Sung is proving hard to escape from.

Jae Sung has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Johnson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Johnson wants to get up but he can't break Jae Sung's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Jae Sung manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Johnson manages to get himself to full guard.

Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jae Sung. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jae Sung stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Johnson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Jae Sung pushing down on Johnson's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Jae Sung will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Johnson is trying to get back to full guard.
Johnson pushes Jae Sung off looking to stand but Jae Sung dives back in and keeps control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Jae Sung is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Johnson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jae Sung.

Jae Sung is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Johnson is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Park Jae Sung!
Park Jae Sung gave a mention to SP Ultimate Nutrition in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
