The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardenov takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Hardenov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Horrible takedown attempt by Gatto or perhaps it was just good defense by Hardenov, which made it look bad.
Hardenov appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Hardenov tries to clinch there but Gatto circles away.
Gatto misses with the combination.
Hardenov changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Gatto misses with a few strikes there.
Hardenov swings for the body but Gatto moves out of range.
Gatto is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hardenov tries to clinch up.
Gatto goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Hardenov just misses with a punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Hardenov and Gatto goes tumbling to the canvas! Hardenov follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Gatto is rocked!

It looks like Domenic Gatto has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gatto avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hardenov.
Gatto has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hardenov is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nice strikes from Hardenov there.
Gatto is still in real trouble! Can Hardenov finish him?
