Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Garfunkel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Campos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garfunkel kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Haifisch. The crowd seem to be enjoying Campos's choice of entrance music: Doom and Gloom by The Rolling Stones. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Campos misses with a left hand
and Garfunkel counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Garfunkel tries to free his leg and advance position but Campos is retaining full guard.
Campos is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Garfunkel is controlling him.
Garfunkel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Campos swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Garfunkel won't allow Campos to get back to his feet.
Campos has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Garfunkel has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Campos is leaning against Garfunkel and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Garfunkel has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Campos is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Garfunkel tries for a takedown but Campos manages to get underhooks.

I was talking to Garfunkel's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Campos lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
