Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andreas Andersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andersson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is ZZ Top - Tube Snake Boogie. Griffin has chosen Get Low as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andersson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Griffin defends it nicely.

Andersson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Griffin, pushing him back against the cage.
Griffin wants to break free but Andersson has control.
Griffin is trying to break the clinch but Andersson is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Griffin breaks the clinch.
Griffin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Andersson half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Griffin has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Andersson is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Andersson is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Griffin is trying to escape and Andersson transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Griffin is forced to tap! Nice work there by Andersson! Very nice indeed!
