The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forcover shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Halo as he jumps to the side.
Halo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD: Top Team in the buildup to the fight.
Halo scores with a jab to the body.
Forcover shoots for a double leg takedown but Halo sprawls well. He's pushed Forcover's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Forcover crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Halo - the referee stops the clock and Forcover gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Halo. Forcover manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Halo gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Forcover is trying to drag Halo to the mat but Halo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Michael Halo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Run Forcover.
