Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Tomilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tomilson comes to the cage accompanied by Bout that Life. Power comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Easy Rider kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tomilson feints and as Power raises his hands in defense, Tomilson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Power is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tomilson wants to stand but Power has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Power tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tomilson wants to get up but he can't break Power's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Tomilson wants to stand and escape but instead Power has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Power is working for a rear naked choke. Tomilson is not defending it well and Power has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Tomilson refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Tomilson's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
