The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barathian slips a jab and a cross from Hines.
Hines uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Barathian.
Barathian misses with a jab, cross combination.
Barathian lands a jab to the head.
Hines shoots in for a takedown but Barathian shows good takedown defense.
Hines ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barathian moves away.

Hines has closed the distance and engaged Barathian in a clinch.
Barathian tries to circle away but Hines has him pinned against the cage.

Barathian breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Barathian stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Barathian scores with a jab. Hines acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hines. Barathian does a little dance to reset his feet.

Hines is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Barathian.
