Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ted Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and MP Macey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hernandez fails with an attempt to clinch.
Macey tries to bum rush Hernandez with a series of wild strikes but Hernandez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hernandez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Macey manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

As Macey tries to get set, Hernandez tries to push him back and clinch up but Macey manages to avoid the attempt.

Macey shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Hernandez looks like he's trying to stand up.
Hernandez is staying active underneath Macey, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Macey stalling away here and it's allowed Hernandez to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Macey is trying to control Hernandez's posture but Hernandez avoids it.
Hernandez looks up at the clock and then as Macey takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Hernandez smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Macey gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Macey tries to free his leg and advance position but Hernandez is retaining full guard.

Macey throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hernandez was covering up waiting for the punch and Macey finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Hernandez lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hernandez's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Macey pushes Hernandez off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
