Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Silva manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Silva is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Perry tries to clinch but Silva is having none of it.

Perry fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Silva sprawls well initially but Perry persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Silva is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Silva avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Perry trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom.
Silva has control of Perry's left arm, preventing Perry from doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Perry is looking to work some ground and pound but Silva has wrist control.
Silva is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Silva seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Perry does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Silva is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Perry tries to roll over but Silva keeps him under control.

Silva is working for a kimura but Perry is defending it quite comfortably.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Perry wants to improve his position but Silva is controlling well.

Silva is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Silva scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Silva jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Perry manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Perry keeps working.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Silva is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Perry looks calm but he's in trouble here. Silva gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Perry is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Silva lets go of the hold and Perry can pop his arm back in it's socket.
