Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kilafwa Tatlumahi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Fadden!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fadden throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Tatlumahi checks a leg kick.
Tatlumahi defending well as Fadden loads up on a big left hand.
Tatlumahi is looking to counter with a body kick.
Fadden throws a low kick but Tatlumahi avoids it.
Tatlumahi looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Tatlumahi ducks under a wild hook from Fadden.
Fadden misses with a jab to the body
and Tatlumahi counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Fadden throws a body shot but no joy.
A counter left hand to the body from Tatlumahi misses its target.
Tatlumahi misses with a low kick.
Tatlumahi takes one on the button.
A slow jab from Fadden misses its intended target.
Fadden scores with a nice right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tatlumahi connects with a nice looking jab.
Fadden just misses with a punch to the body.
Tatlumahi thinks about countering with a head kick.
Fadden misses with a lunging right hand
and Tatlumahi counters with a big head kick but Fadden shrugs it off.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Tatlumahi counters with a body kick.
John Fadden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tatlumahi takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Fadden throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A quick step to the side and Tatlumahi tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fadden throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Tatlumahi counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Fadden throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Tatlumahi counters with a nice low kick that buckles Fadden's knee momentarily.
Fadden misses with a straight right.
Fadden is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tatlumahi.
Tatlumahi fires out a quick counter leg kick but Fadden just manages to avoid it.
Kilafwa Tatlumahi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fadden pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Fadden just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromTatlumahi.
Fadden misses with a lunging right hand
and Tatlumahi makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Fadden throws an off balance right hand
and Tatlumahi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Fadden misses with an uppercut
and Tatlumahi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Fadden has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Fadden throws an off balance right hand
and Tatlumahi counters with a nice kick to the body.
Fadden looks winded!
Fadden throws an off balance right hand
and Tatlumahi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fadden misses with a takedown
and as Fadden loses concentration momentarily, Tatlumahi counters with a picture perfect head kick! Fadden goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Kilafwa Tatlumahi!
After winning the bout, Kilafwa Tatlumahi thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
