Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Joaozinho Gurgel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pauline Hanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hanson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Pauline Pantsdown - I Don't Like It kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hanson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Gurgel throws out a head kick that Hanson doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Hanson crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Hanson's eyes and has decided to let it go on!

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hanson! But no joy.

Gurgel tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hanson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

I was talking to Gurgel's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gurgel lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hanson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hanson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Gurgel catches Hanson napping and connects with a fantastic 3 punch combination that sends Hanson crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but he's all over the place - can he beat the count?!? 4,5,6,7,8...9...10! He didn't make it back to his feet! Gurgel raises both arms skywards and takes in the roar from the crowd!
