Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Deverux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rudi Dassler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Steve Deverux!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rudi Dassler!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deverux connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dassler. Dassler circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like Rudi Dassler has been cut.
Dassler showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Deverux.
Dassler drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Deverux defends it well.
Deverux misses the jab.
Dassler ducks under a wild hook from Deverux.
Deverux tests Dassler's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Deverux tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dassler was well out of range. Poor timing from Deverux.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dassler has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Dassler takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Dassler throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Deverux's waist but Deverux gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dassler off to one side.
Deverux misses with a hook.
Deverux feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Dassler sprawling to the canvas! Dassler rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Deverux finish him?!
Dassler is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dassler leaves his chin hanging out and Deverux seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Dassler crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Steve Deverux!
