Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Morley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Glazer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Morley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chad Glazer!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morley closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Glazer to the mat! Glazer manages to get full guard.

Morley is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Demon's Elite Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Morley is really struggling to control Glazer but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Morley is looking to work some ground and pound but Glazer has wrist control.
Morley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Morley accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Morley shoots in looking for a takedown. Glazer tries to sprawl out of it but Morley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Glazer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Morley tries to keep at a distance but Glazer has taken the fight into the clinch.

Morley drops down looking for an ankle pick but Glazer pulls his leg out and moves away.

Glazer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Morley tries to score a power double leg takedown but Glazer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Morley somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Morley. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Morley takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Morley looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Glazer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Glazer has hold of Morley's hands but Morley slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Morley throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Glazer tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Morley is in Glazer's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Glazer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Morley swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Morley is looking to stand up but Glazer isn't so interested in that idea.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Glazer working his ground and pound in the gym.
Glazer won't allow Morley to sweep him here.

That was a close second round but I would say that Adam Morley will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Morley tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Glazer defends well and Morley ends up having to push Glazer into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
