The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Bruno Hogan and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Basquez throws a head kick but Hansen moves out of range.
A solid leg kick lands there for Basquez.
Hansen circles away from the clinch attempt.
Basquez moves into the clinch successfully.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Basquez just misses with a elbow thrown towards Hansen's brow.
Hansen manages to pull guard.
Hansen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hansen has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Basquez in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Hansen thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Basquez drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hansen looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hansen looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hansen!
