Benvenuti is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Black Eye Peas - Let's get retarded. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benvenuti throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Jackson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Giacomo Benvenuti has been cut.
Jackson fails with a takedown attempt.
Jackson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Jackson looks to score with a jab to the body but Benvenuti is just out of range.
Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Benvenuti moves away.
Giacomo Benvenuti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Benvenuti moves out of range of the strikes.
Jackson backing away here, and Benvenuti unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
A punch lands to the side of Jackson 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Jackson missing with a left hand there. Benvenuti was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Benvenuti throws a leg kick which misses Jackson's front leg but catches the back leg as Jackson tries to avoid it.
Benvenuti comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Benvenuti throws a nice inside leg kick.
Jackson tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Benvenuti bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Jackson avoids the head kick by Benvenuti.
Benvenuti uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jackson.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Benvenuti lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jackson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jackson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Jackson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Benvenuti can pounce on him.
Jackson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jackson looks to throw the jab but Benvenuti is out of range.
Benvenuti feints a counter leg kick.
Benvenuti scores with a nice body kick.
Benvenuti goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Jackson scores with a jab. Benvenuti acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Benvenuti drops Jackson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jackson looks back up at him and smiles so Benvenuti waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Jackson is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Some bone on bone action there as Jackson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Jackson is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Benvenuti throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Jackson is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
