Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Upper Cut!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kanwar Singh!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh stuffs the takedown attempt from Cut. Cut gets slowly back to his feet.
Singh throws out a counter right but Cut avoids it with no problem.
Cut avoids the body shot from Singh.
Singh stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Cut bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Cut seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Singh lands with a shot to the body.
Singh swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Singh misses with a wild body shot.

Cut gets a takedown into half guard.

Cut is trying to work for a kimura but Singh is defending well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Singh can do anything to dispel that myth.
Singh wants to improve his position but Cut is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cut seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Singh does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Cut controlling the action here.

Cut is working for a kimura but Singh is defending it quite comfortably.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Cut is looking to take a break and control but Singh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Singh wants to get back to full guard.
Cut passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Singh!

Singh wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Cut wants to control the pace but Singh is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cut lands a heavy elbow.
Singh is wriggling around trying to escape.
Singh is squirming around, avoiding Cut's attempts to control the action.
Cut unloads with some shots from mount but Singh bucks and avoids them well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Singh is in all sorts of trouble here.
Cut dominating with strikes here.
A nice elbow there by Cut.
BOOM! Cut connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Cut sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cut looking to ground and pound but Singh is blocking nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Upper Cut dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Cut misses with a takedown
and Singh counters with a stiff right hand.
Singh wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Cut with a lazy takedown attempt
and Singh counters with a nice body shot.
Cut throws a right hand that Singh ducks under and follows up with a left that Singh also avoids with ease.
Singh punishes Cut's body with a nice straight punch.
Singh leaves Cut with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Upper Cut. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cut fails with a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cut takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Cut shoots in and drives through. Singh sprawls well.
Singh is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Cut rather than just go for the knockout.

Singh digs a good body shot into Cut's ribs.
Cut closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Singh lands with a cross.
Singh moves into range and connects with a jab.
Singh scores with a body shot.
Kanwar Singh seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Singh feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cut sprawling to the canvas! Cut rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Singh finish him?!


Cut is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Singh lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Cut falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kanwar Singh!
An out of breath Kanwar Singh thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
