Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Stubb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicklas Lidstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nicklas Lidstrom!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Sandra Marshall and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lidstrom moves forwards but Stubb connects with a nice, crisp jab.
It looks like Nicklas Lidstrom has been cut.
Lidstrom looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Stubb tries to close the distance and clinch but Lidstrom swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lidstrom swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Stubb.
Alexander Stubb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stubb swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Stubb throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lidstrom swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Stubb counters with a stiff right hand.
Stubb scores with a punch to the head.
Lidstrom misses with an uppercut.
Stubb Rushes Lidstrom and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Lidstrom is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Stubb Piles on the pressure and Lidstrom crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
