The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Casey holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Polo looking to slow down the pace here.
Polo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Casey thows a leg kick but Polo checks it
and Casey takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Polo throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Casey counters by moving into the clinch.
Polo is trying to drag Casey to the mat but Casey just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Casey pulls guard.
Polo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Polo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Casey works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Casey wants to sweep here but Polo controlling him for the moment.
Casey manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Polo manages to get himself to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Casey cracks Polo with a solid left hand.
Casey stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Casey slips a jab from Polo.
Polo lands with an overhand left.
No joy there for Polo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
As Polo looks to move away, Casey throws a big counter combo bu Polo just gets out of the way.
Polo gets caught flat footed, as Casey shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Casey stands up from guard. Let's bang!
We've been informed that Polo has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Casey shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Polo throws the left hand but Casey avoids the punch easily.
Polo throws a head kick that misses
and Casey moves into the clinch.
Casey gets control of Polo's arms and successfully pulls guard. Casey will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Casey has his hands on Polo's head, controlling the position.
Casey looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Polo is looking to advance position but Casey has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Casey is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Polo is forced to tap! Great finish!
