The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graf closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Podzianowski's guard.
Podzianowski is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Podzianowski avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Graf stands and throws Podzianowski's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Graf really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Podzianowski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Podzianowski wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Graf tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Graf lands a decent elbow from side control.
Graf throws a strike aimed at the side of Podzianowski's head but Podzianowski avoids it well.
Podzianowski is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Graf has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Podzianowski takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Graf creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Podzianowski takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Graf tries to score with some ground and pound. Podzianowski controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Podzianowski pushes Graf away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Graf gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Graf connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Podzianowski momentarily.

Graf connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Graf shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Podzianowski napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Podzianowski takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Graf lands a strong strike to the head of Podzianowski. That's dazed him! Graf looking to finish here. Podzianowski is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Graf lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
