Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elias Al Haddad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniel Brown has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 13 - 1, fighting out of New York, Elias Al Haddad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daniel Brown!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Al Haddad gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Brown is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Al Haddad has his foot on Brown's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brown works his way back into a safe position though.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brown accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Brown wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Al Haddad has him pressed against the cage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Brown has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Al Haddad content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Brown has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Al Haddad seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Brown can turn it around.

Brown ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Brown no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Brown is looking to cinch up a triangle. Al Haddad throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Brown's body to avoid the submission. Brown has instead reached around Al Haddad's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Brown arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
