Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Blade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lenny Alfredo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Blade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lenny Alfredo!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alfredo scores with a sloppy right hand. Blade should have avoided that one.
Alfredo throws a combination that misses

and Blade counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Blade lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
A body shot lands from Blade.
Blade prevents Alfredo from breaking the clinch.
Blade lands a nice uppercut.
Blade throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Alfredos head.
A short body shot lands from Blade as the two fighters clinch.
A short right from Blade.

Blade manages to break the clinch.
Blade throws out a loose jab but Alfredo uses good head movement to avoid it.
As Blade backs off Alfredo throws a huge counter combo but Blade manages to avoid it all.
Alfredo has a takedown stuffed.
Alfredo misses with a double jab
and Blade counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Blade with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Blade moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Blade slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Blade showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Alfredo.
Blade connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Alfredo's hands.

and Blade counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Alfredo thinking.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Alfredo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Alfredo looks winded!
Alfredo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Horrible takedown attempt by Alfredo or perhaps it was just good defense by Blade, which made it look bad.
Blade is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Alfredo.
Jake Blade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lenny Alfredo.
Alfredo throws a left and a right that both miss
and Blade cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Alfredo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Blade feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Alfredo sprawling to the canvas! Alfredo rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Blade finish him?!

Alfredo is rocked!
Blade cracks Alfredo with a hook to the temple - Alfredo is on wobbly legs here! Blade swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Alfredo falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Blade wins by TKO!
