And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunines shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bush sprawls well. Bush wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gunines gets slowly back to his feet.
It looked like Bush was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Gunines fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Bush attempts a counter takedown but Gunines avoids it well and moves away.
Louis Gunines seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bush throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gunines with the counter takedown but Bush avoids it easily.
Gunines has his takedown stuffed
and Bush counters with a left and a right that stings Gunines.
Jospeh Bush has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Louis Gunines.
Gunines shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bush as he jumps to the side.
Bush tries to counter by clinching up but Gunines breaks away and moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Bush makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bush lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Gunines looks winded!

Bush shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bush showed some decent athleticism there.
Gunines is rocked!
Bush wants to work for an arm triangle but Gunines is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Gunines is still in real trouble! Can Bush finish him?
Bush is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Bush lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Gunines quite badly. Gunines pulls Bush in close trying to recover. Bush postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Gunines on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Gunines doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jospeh Bush!
