Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zephyrus Belenus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Imperiex Prime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zephyrus Belenus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Imperiex Prime!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belenus fails to land the takedown.
Prime misses with a two punch combination.

Belenus closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Prime is trying is best to control the position here.

Belenus wants to work for an arm triangle but Prime is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Belenus seems to be working for a kimura but Prime defends the submission attempt.
Prime trying to hold on to Belenus's head to control him but Belenus postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Prime might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Belenus haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Prime is defending against the submission attempts here by Belenus.
Prime has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Prime's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Prime controls Belenus momentarily but Belenus frees himself.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Prime throws an overhand right that lands on Belenus's shoulder, as Belenus tries to avoid the shot.
Prime fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
It looked like Belenus wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Prime throws a nice looking combination but Belenus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Belenus went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Belenus tries to close the distance and clinch but Prime swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Prime keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Prime throws a right and a left that Belenus avoids nicely.
Zephyrus Belenus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Belenus shoots in and gets a takedown into Prime's guard.
Belenus is standing up over Prime. Prime looks to escape but Belenus dives into side control.

Prime is trying to work for a sweep but Belenus has mounted him!

Belenus has hold of Prime's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Prime manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Belenus with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Prime is controlling an arm, preventing Belenus from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Prime manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Prime tries to roll over but Belenus keeps him under control.

Belenus is working for a submission of some sort.
Prime is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Belenus is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Prime doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Belenus.

That was a close round but I would say that Zephyrus Belenus will probably get the nod.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Prime takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Prime will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

It looked like Belenus was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Prime.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Belenus tries to close the distance and clinch up but Prime swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Belenus shoots in looking for a takedown but Prime manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Belenus's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Belenus drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Belenus wants to lay and pray for a moment but Prime keeps working.

Belenus wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Prime, who protects the arm well.
You can see the frustration on Prime's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Prime is looking to regain half guard here but Belenus keeps moving and retains side control.
Prime is pushing Belenus's head away, looking to escape. Belenus manages to hold on to the position though.
Belenus trying to control the action but Prime is working from the bottom.

Belenus is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Prime has escaped the position, nice work there.

That was a close second round but I would say that Zephyrus Belenus will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!

No joy there for Prime, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Prime misses with a jab, cross combination.
Belenus bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Prime's head backwards.
Prime connects with a right hand. Belenus shakes it off.
Prime takes one on the button.
Prime has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.


Prime is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Belenus clinches with his opponent.
Prime is still on wobbly legs! Can Belenus finish him?

Belenus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Belenus moves into the clinch.
Belenus slows down the pace here.
Belenus creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Prime's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Prime drops to his knees and Belenus pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zephyrus Belenus!
