The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Blye has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Pacquiao is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Blye is just riding it out for now. Pacquiao eventually gives up the hold.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pacquiao seems to be looking for submissions.
Blye has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pacquiao is working away from the top position though.

Pacquiao is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Blye reverses the position - he's now on top in Pacquiao's guard.
