Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Agustin Trujillo and Tommy Bukovsky. Chooooooooon! I think Trujillo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Infectious Grooves - Violent & Funky. Bukovsky has chosen Donatan, Petez, Gural, Pih - Budź się as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 1 losses; Agustin Trujillo! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 2 losses; Tommy Bukovsky!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Trujillo clinches.
Bukovsky is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Trujillo to keep the fight standing.
Bukovsky jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Trujillo walks away with a smile on his face. Bukovsky gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Bukovsky shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Trujillo's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Trujillo trying to keep a closed guard but Bukovsky is proving a slippery customer.

Trujillo has his foot on Bukovsky's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bukovsky works his way back into a safe position though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bukovsky escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Trujillo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Trujillo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Trujillo drops back looking for a leg! Bukovsky is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bukovsky manages to kick Trujillo off! Trujillo jumps back into Bukovsky's guard.
Trujillo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bukovsky swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bukovsky escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Trujillo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Bukovsky is pulling down on Trujillo's head. It's preventing any offense from Trujillo, at least for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bukovsky is not content to let Trujillo control the position.

Trujillo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bukovsky is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Trujillo is looking to take a break and control but Bukovsky is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Bukovsky has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Trujillo. Oh but Bukovsky has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Trujillo goes limp - he's gone! Bukovsky jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Tommy Bukovsky!
In his post fight interview, Tommy Bukovsky started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
