The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Underwood circles away from the clinch attempt
and Underwood counters with a thumping low kick.
Underwood checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Underwood avoids the body shot from Ginobli.
Ginobli misses with a double jab.
Ginobli lands a slapping body shot.
Ginobli takes a body punch but keeps moving.

and Underwood counters with a nice kick to the body.
Ginobli throws a series of punches but Underwood moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Underwood wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Underwood throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Ginobli lands a jab to Underwood's midsection.

Ginobli tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Underwood manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ginobli has eaten all the pies!
Underwood takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Ginobli has closed the distance and engaged Underwood in a clinch.
Underwood gets underhooks to prevent Ginobli's takedown attempt.
A frustrated look appears on Ginobli's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Oliver Ginobli seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ginobli tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Underwood counters with a nice body shot.

Underwood clinches up against the cage.
Ginobli misses with a body punch.
Ginobli fails to pull guard.
Ellsworth Underwood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oliver Ginobli.
Underwood drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ginobli gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Ginobli jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Underwood walks away with a smile on his face. Ginobli gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Ginobli tries to clinch but Underwood is having none of it.
Underwood drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ginobli sprawls and moves away.
Ginobli throws a body shot but no joy.
Ginobli lands a right hook to the body.

Ginobli darts in and clinches Underwood up against the cage.
Ginobli with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Ginobli can't break the clinch.

Ginobli escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ginobli throws a head kick but Underwood moves out of range.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ginobli tries to break the clinch but Underwood is controlling the position.
Underwood goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ginobli prevents it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ginobli looking to throw knees to the head but Underwood is blocking nicely.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ginobli.
Ginobli jumps guard but Underwood turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Underwood misses with a body punch.
Ginobli works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Ginobli breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Ginobli gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ginobli can't break the clinch.
Underwood tries to score a body lock takedown but Ginobli shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oliver Ginobli dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Ginobli loads up on a big right hand but Underwood slips the punch.
Ginobli dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ginobli looks to land a combination but Underwood avoids it well.
Underwood tries to close the distance and clinch but Ginobli swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Oliver Ginobli seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Oooooh!!! Ginobli has knocked Underwood down with a huge combo! Ginobli steps away and waves a wobbly Underwood back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Ellsworth Underwood has been cut.
Ginobli throws a body shot but no joy.
Ginobli misses with a body shot.
A head kick misses from Ginobli.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ginobli fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Underwood manages to avoid it.
Ginobli throws a shot from downtown. Underwood moves away and avoids it.
Underwood feinted with a counter takedown.
Underwood blocks a head kick by Ginobli.
Underwood tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Ginobli manages to circle out of the way.
Ginobli works the jab nicely.

Underwood is rocked!
Underwood has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Ginobli is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Ginobli shuts the power down on Underwood. Lights out, game over! Ginobli is your winner.
