Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Its ME (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Canyonero The Truck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Truck has chosen Canyonero as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Its ME!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Canyonero The Truck!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The Truck gets the takedown into side control.
ME is looking to get back to his feet here but The Truck is keeping cool and he's managed to take ME's back.
The Truck has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of ME's body.
Can ME hold on?! The Truck is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
The Truck struggling to keep hold of the position.
The Truck lands with a hammerfist to the side of ME's head.
The Truck scores with punches from the back.
The Truck gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
The Truck punishes ME with strikes from the back mount.
The Truck slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
The Truck keeps control of the position as ME tries to break free.
ME is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

ME trying to get back to his feet but The Truck is in full control for now.
The Truck lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
The Truck lands an elbow to the side of the head.
The Truck is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften ME up.
ME covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
ME can't escape the position.
The Truck lands shots from the back.
The Truck biding his time, controlling ME.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
ME grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.

The Truck lands a shot to the body.
The Truck connects with a big shot to the side of ME's head.
The Truck is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. The Truck gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. The Truck gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. The Truck apologises and we restart here on the feet.

The Truck scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The Truck content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

ME is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The Truck looks up at the clock and then as ME takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, The Truck smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The Truck in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
ME knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for The Truck on the ground.
The Truck trying to control the position but ME is working away.
The Truck lands a few punches from side control.
The Truck wants to control but ME is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Canyonero The Truck dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


ME tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The Truck throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around ME's waist but ME gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing The Truck off to one side.
ME leaves The Truck with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The Truck shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than The Truck was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
ME is trying to control The Truck's posture but The Truck avoids it.
ME is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, The Truck asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The Truck lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The Truck working the ground and pound.

The Truck trying to control the action but ME is working from the bottom.

The Truck moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

ME is not content to let The Truck control the position.
ME on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if ME tries to get out of the position.

Canyonero The Truck has got the better of the ground game so far.
The Truck trying to control the position but ME is working away.
ME is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
The Truck has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
ME is looking to reverse the position.
The Truck is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The Truck is looking to take a break and control but ME is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

ME wants to control but The Truck postures up.
ME seems a little lost for a moment, as The Truck dominates the positioning.
The Truck trying to control the position but ME is working away.
ME gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
The Truck has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
ME working to try and regain half guard.
The Truck controlling the pace for now.
The Truck is continuing to stall.

ME in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
The Truck lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
ME bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
ME tries to stand but The Truck is controlling from the bottom.
The Truck pulls ME in close to his closed guard and prevents ME from doing any damage or advancing position.
The Truck manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. ME manages to get himself to full guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Canyonero The Truck showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


The Truck fails with a takedown attempt.
ME throws a series of punches but The Truck avoids them all with ease.
Its ME seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The Truck darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
ME on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The Truck winds up and cracks ME with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The Truck wants to lay and pray for a moment but ME keeps working.
ME wants to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The Truck uses his free foot to push down on ME's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for ME.

ME is looking to improve his position but The Truck isn't that keen on the idea.
The Truck tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The Truck can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as ME is looking to escape.

The Truck lands a couple of good shots and ME has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
The Truck lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns ME.
ME covers up after that shot from The Truck.
I would not like to be ME right now.
The Truck throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting ME!
The Truck lands punches and elbows.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
The Truck is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

Let's hope that The Truck has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The adventures of The Truck the control monster continue. Boring.
The Truck is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. The Truck gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. The Truck gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. The Truck apologises and we restart here on the feet.
ME stuffs the takedown.

The Truck closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
ME is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
ME takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
ME takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
ME lands an elbow from the bottom.
A lull in the action here as The Truck stalls from top position.

ME is looking for a sweep.
Canyonero The Truck is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
ME on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
The Truck lands a few punches from side control.
The Truck taking a breather here.

ME tries to escape but The Truck is in control.
ME takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
ME is working to avoid the ground and pound but The Truck connects with a decent elbow.

Its ME has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Canyonero The Truck comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got The Truck winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Canyonero The Truck decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
