The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasilevskiy connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between McGinn's hands.

McGinn drops Vasilevskiy with a big knee straight up the middle! Vasilevskiy is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

McGinn closes the distance and clinches.
Oh Vasilevskiy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McGinn lands a damaging elbow.

He's got control of the head and as Vasilevskiy tries to break McGinn's hands from around his neck, McGinn unloads with that fight ending knee, right up the middle! Oh man, that was nasty! Vasilevskiy will need to get back to the training room and learn how to defend against the thai clinch! Oooh, his nose is a mess. Hopefully it's not broken.
