Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jered Havener (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ling Manchu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ling Manchu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jered Havener!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Ling Manchu!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Havener tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Manchu on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Manchu with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Havener to score with a decent uppercut.
Havener stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.


Manchu is rocked!
Havener throws a right hand that Manchu ducks under and follows up with a left that Manchu also avoids with ease.
Havener throws a combination that misses

and Manchu counters by clinching up.
Manchu has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Havener is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Havener wants to break free but Manchu has control.
Manchu is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Havener is defending well.
Manchu can't find room to land a body shot as Havener controls the action.

Manchu turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Havener taking punishment in the form of punches.
Manchu has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Havener tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Manchu wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Manchu cracks Havener with a big right hand but Havener just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Havener might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
You can see the frustration on Havener's face as Manchu controls the position.
Havener takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Manchu cracks Havener with a big right hand but Havener just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Manchu is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Havener knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Havener is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Manchu is controlling him well.
A lull in the action here as Manchu stalls from top position.
Havener takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Manchu scores with a couple of short elbows.
Manchu is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Havener's shoulder. That is not cool.
Manchu in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Manchu just content to control the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
It looks like Manchu might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Manchu in side control lands a decent elbow.
Manchu slows the pace down.
Manchu landing a few strikes.
Manchu is staying tight to Havener's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Manchu lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Havener is looking for a sweep.

Havener is rocked!
Havener takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Oh Havener is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Manchu in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Havener looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Manchu turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ling Manchu!
Ling Manchu seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
