Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brandon Meyers!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Roberts and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baldwin shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Baldwin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Baldwin is looking for a kimura but Meyers is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Baldwin to get the leverage.
Meyers looks like he's trying to stand up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Baldwin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Meyers sees it coming and defends easily.

Baldwin working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Meyers has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Baldwin is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Meyers is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Baldwin tries to escape but Meyers has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Meyers lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Baldwin hold on?!
Meyers is not going to allow Baldwin to sit and survive in this position.

Oh Baldwin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Meyers cracks Baldwin with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Baldwin from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Meyers has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Baldwin.
Meyers drops a couple of huge strikes from the back position and Baldwin is in real trouble here! Meyers lands more strikes and the referee has to step in to end the fight! Meyers is delighted!
