The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Troeng fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Donowitz manages to avoid it.
Donowitz bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Troeng avoids a punch combination nicely.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Troeng! But no joy.
Donowitz avoids the body shot from Troeng.
Troeng throws a lazy uppercut

Tor Troeng seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Troeng throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Donowitz sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Troeng has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

and Donowitz counters with a good, hard body kick but Troeng shrugs it off.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Troeng might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Donowitz swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Troeng.

Troeng thows a left - swing and a miss!
Troeng swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Troeng throws a right and a left that both miss.
Donowitz on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Donowitz takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Troeng scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Troeng throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Donowitz has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Troeng finds it's way round the side to connect with Donowitz's head.

Troeng throws a poor cross that misses
and Donowitz counters with a nice body shot.
Troeng on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Donowitz fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Donowitz pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Donowitz sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Donowitz has taken the fight to the clinch.
Troeng gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Donowitz moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Donowitz is looking for a triangle here but Troeng uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Tor Troeng will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

It looks like Donowitz has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

and Donowitz counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Donowitz scores with a jab to the jaw.
Donowitz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Troeng stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Donowitz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Troeng throws out the jab.
Donowitz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Donowitz lands with a kick to the temple. Troeng shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Troeng is rocked!

Troeng is still on wobbly legs! Can Donowitz finish him?
Abraham Donowitz is winning the standup battle so far.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A decent looking body kick lands there for Donowitz.
Donowitz drops Troeng with a huge uppercut! Troeng drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Donowitz is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Abraham Donowitz!
Abraham Donowitz got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
