Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lei throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Ayouba closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Ayouba trying to control from Lei's half guard. Lei has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Ayouba passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Lei is breathing heavily.

Ayouba working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Ayouba is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lei knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Ayouba goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Lei rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Ayouba's guard! Nice work there by Lei!

Ayouba is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lei defends well.
Ayouba looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Lei puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Ayouba is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lei's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lei's back!
Well, with Ayouba on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Lei is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Ayouba is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Lei knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Lei for a finish.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lei won't enjoy being in this position. Ayouba looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Lei is tapping - it's over boys! Ayouba picks up the submission victory!
