With a record of 33 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pete Schwetty!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Schwetty's calf.
Schwetty motions for Alves to come forward. Schwetty throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Alves attempts a counter takedown but Schwetty avoids it well and moves away.
Alves looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A slow jab from Schwetty misses its intended target.
Pete Schwetty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Schwetty misses with a kick to the body.
Alves changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Schwetty takes one on the button.
Schwetty walks into a straight right hand from Alves .
Schwetty bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Alves throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Schwetty.
Alves uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Schwetty.
A jab from Schwetty misses.
Schwetty takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Alves pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Schwetty throws a shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Schwetty scores with a punch to the head.
Schwetty smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Alves is rocked!

It looks like Renzo Alves has been cut.
Nice straight punches there by Schwetty. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Schwetty.
Oh Alves is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Schwetty tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Alves was well out of range. Poor timing from Schwetty.
Alves tries to counter with a takedown but Schwetty is quick to defend against it.
Schwetty ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Alves moves away.
Schwetty lands a jab to Alves 's midsection.

Schwetty drops Alves with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Alves looks back up at him and smiles so Schwetty waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Schwetty ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Alves moves away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Schwetty walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Alves drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Schwetty swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Alves 's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pete Schwetty!
Pete Schwetty really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Zombie Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
