Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Akira Hayabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Mannetosen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hayabusa comes to the cage accompanied by Bombs Away by Bob. Mannetosen has chosen Krav as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Akira Hayabusa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Manny Mannetosen!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mannetosen lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hayabusa's sensitive parts.
Mannetosen scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Mannetosen tries to land a front kick but Hayabusa steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hayabusa tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Mannetosen manages to circle out of the way.
Mannetosen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mannetosen tries to land a leg kick but Hayabusa saw it coming and moves away.
It looked like Hayabusa wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Hayabusa closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mannetosen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hayabusa has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mannetosen lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hayabusa has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hayabusa and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Mannetosen moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hayabusa shoots for a takedown but Mannetosen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

I've got Mannetosen winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
