Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David James!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James shoots in for a double leg but King sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
James darts in looking for a takedown but King gets double underhooks and turns James into the cage.
King cracks a nice hook into James's ribs.

King is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

James sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


James misses with a takedown attempt - King sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

James lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

James looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
King is looking to improve his position.
James seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but King does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
King wants to sweep but James has passed to side control!

James is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
James throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and King works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
James frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The referee warns King that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

King is rocked!
James is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and King goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for James!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). David James!
A very excited looking David James rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
